We just heard back from Steam. It was actually a reply to the message we sent two days ago, so their response came a bit late. They told me to keep the game as normal for the time being. In other words, it looks like we won’t need to re-roll the game. The announcement we posted earlier has been rolled back. If their reply had come just 3 or 4 hours earlier, this whole mix-up could’ve been avoided……
