Ludixa is free to read and paid for by advertising. That means some things do get stored on your device — but only the strictly necessary ones happen without asking you first. Everything else waits for the banner.
These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot do what you asked it to do. They set no profile and are never shared.

It feeds two systems, and they are not the same kind of thing — so they are listed separately.

mk_a_s — session storage, not a cookie and not local storage. A random session id that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is destroyed when you close the tab. It is what distinguishes “one person reading four pages” from “four people reading one page”.Your IP address is not stored. It is used once, in memory, to compute a daily one-way hash that cannot be reversed and that changes every day — so the same reader is not recognisable tomorrow. Search terms you type into the site are not recorded: the statistics know a search happened, not what you looked for.
Since 24 August 2026 the same switch also starts Google Analytics 4 (property G-9XXCTLM5VQ), run by Google Ireland Limited. We use it because it answers questions our own counter cannot — chiefly how readers arrive from Google Search. It is a genuine third party and we will not dress it up as anything else.

If you refuse this category, no Google script is inserted into the page at all — not loaded and then muted. There is nothing for it to set, because nothing from Google runs.
Part 2a on its own could rely on the exemption for first-party audience measurement. Part 2b could not, under any reading. So the whole category asks, and it asks before either one starts.
If you allowed statistics before 24 August 2026, we are asking you again. The permission you gave covered a counter that never left our server, and that is not what this category does any more. Your old answer was discarded rather than stretched to cover something you were never told about.

What we can promise is the part under our control: if you refuse this category, no Adsterra script is inserted into the page at all. Not loaded and then blocked — never loaded. There is nothing to set, because nothing from them runs.
The banner appears before any non-necessary script exists on the page, and the code that would insert them is behind the same switch. Accept and Reject are the same button in two colours — refusing takes exactly one click, like accepting. There is no X to close, because closing without choosing is neither a yes nor a no.
If you withdraw a permission you had given, the page reloads. That is deliberate: a third-party script already running cannot be uninstalled by removing its tag, so a reload is the only way for “reject” to mean what it says.
The same link sits in the footer of every page. You can also clear cookies and site data from your browser settings, or block third-party cookies entirely — the site keeps working either way.
