Train Sim World® 6: London Overground Mildmay line: Stratford - Willesden Junction Route Add-On

TSW Compatible content released for a previous Train Sim World® - features may remain unchanged from the original release and may not make use of all newer core features. The rails of North London keep the suburban zones of the city flowing day in, day out, and in Train Sim World®, climb aboard the iconic London Overground Class 378 and serve this vital rail corridor between the boroughs of Brent, Camden, Hackney and more. Courtesy of Incredible Trains, the Mildmay line awaits! What is now recognisable today as the North London Line was built across 2 decades of staggered development and expansion between 1846 and 1869. Avoiding central London, the route is vital for cross-city connections while avoiding the busy core and is a vital freight artery as it links multiple mainlines together. Much like the rest of the London Overground network, the North London Line was in disarray and decline through the 90s and early 2000s, and in 2007, TfL took over the line and overhauled it to be a modern commuter line with reliable and frequent service. Since 2010, the line has been operated by the instantly recognisable Class 378; originally delivered in 3-car formations, a 4th car was quickly added, and all were expanded to 5-car trains by 2017. With TfL’s renaming of all London Overground routes, the North London Line is now officially known as the Mildmay line, honouring the nearby Mildmay Mission Hospital for its role in treating those affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis of the 1980s. In Train Sim World®, get stuck-in driving the 8 trains per hour service on the modern London Overground Mildmay line. Weave through London boroughs serving the core section between Stratford and Willesden Junction aboard the iconic BR Class 378. With timetable layers and free roam, explore the route with heavy freight trains, and route hop to explore other London routes such as Suffragette line, Southeastern Highspeed and WCML South!
