Stellar Blade: Complete Edition headed to Nintendo Switch 2 with first gameplay shown
Shift Up showed over five minutes of direct-feed Switch 2 footage at gamescom and confirmed the port will include all post-launch content
Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, and Shift Up showed over five minutes of direct-feed Switch 2 gameplay at gamescom while DongKi Lee, Shift Up's CTO, spoke to IGN.
Lee reminded viewers that Stellar Blade first released on PlayStation in 2024 and arrived on PC the following year. He said the studio added two DLCs, additional outfits, seasonal content and events during that period, and that material will be bundled together for the Switch 2 release as a single Complete Edition.
Shift Up also told IGN it translated the DualSense haptic feedback for the Switch 2's HD Rumble, aiming to reproduce the feel of the original console experience on Nintendo's new handheld.
The game's earlier review highlighted its Sekiro-inspired combat, variety of monstrous enemies and hidden rewards that encourage exploration, context that underlines what the Complete Edition is bringing to Switch 2 players. Shift Up says the port will arrive later in 2026.
