007 First Light Adds New Game Plus and Photo Mode in Free Extended Operations Update
The content drop is out now on current platforms, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version is delayed until March 2027.
007 First Light received its first major free content update on October 1, 2026, adding New Game Plus, a dedicated Photo Mode, and five tactical simulation assignments across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Titled Extended Operations, the free download arrives alongside title update 1.020. The patch introduces a harsher 00 difficulty setting alongside new weapons and outfits. It also expands the game's TacSim mode with five new missions, including Valhalla Protocol, which puts players behind the wheel of an Aston Martin Valhalla in Slovakia, and Jungle Heist, set in Vietnam.
Players on Nintendo Switch 2 will have to wait for the additions. The game's Switch 2 port has been delayed until March 2027, with the Extended Operations content scheduled to arrive bundled with that version at launch.
