Kena: Scars of Kosmora Delayed to 2027
Ember Lab originally planned to release the sequel to Kena: Bridge of Spirits in 2026.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora will not make its planned 2026 launch window, slipping into 2027 on PlayStation 5. Developer Ember Lab announced the shift in a PlayStation Blog post on October 1, 2026, stating that the team needs additional time to polish the expanded scope of the project.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Ember Lab first revealed the project in February 2026 as a direct continuation of 2021 release Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The adventure is set some time after the events of the original game. According to the studio, the sequel is being built at a much larger scale than its debut title, prompting the decision to move the release date back to ensure the finished product meets quality targets.
