The survival RPG brings RuneScape to Xbox for the first time in 25 years and supports 1-4 player co-op
RuneScape: Dragonwilds will arrive on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass on September 15, 2026, Xbox Wire reports, marking the first time a RuneScape game has appeared on Xbox in 25 years.
The title is described as a hand-crafted survival RPG for 1-4 players, playable solo or in co-op. Players can level skills from 1-99, wield powerful Skill Spells, and aim to bring down the Dragon Queen, Kuldra, the announcement says. The studio has outlined an expansive roadmap with continual updates planned after 1.0.
GamesRadar reports the developer also said the game's price will not increase when it leaves early access and that the next update, Luminance, will be free.
