Final Fantasy VII Revelation launches 8 April 2027
State of Play showed around ten minutes of new gameplay and a trailer featuring open-world sections set in Wutai
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will launch on 8 April 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
The title is billed as the concluding chapter of the Remake trilogy and will arrive simultaneously on those platforms, with the release date confirmed during today’s State of Play presentation.
Gameplay reveal
The State of Play segment ran roughly ten minutes of new gameplay and a fresh trailer, showing more of the game’s combat and exploration. The footage includes open-world sections in the Wutai region.
The PlayStation presentation and accompanying trailers served as the source for the release date and the new gameplay, which together set the timetable and tone for the final entry in the trilogy.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled for release on 8 April 2027.
