Switch 2 gets new Mario Kart World and Sports Resort bundles, starting at $530
The Mario Kart World bundle is $550 in the US and includes a three-month Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Two new Switch 2 bundles will go on sale in the US this autumn: a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle for $550 arriving in late September 2026, and a Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports bundle for $530 arriving October 22, 2026.
GameSpot reports Nintendo will raise the Switch 2's price by $50 on September 1, 2026, bringing the console to $500, and says that increase is factored into the new bundle pricing.
The Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle includes a Switch 2 console, a code for the digital version of Mario Kart World, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership. Nintendo says the $550 bundle represents a savings of $38 compared to buying each item separately.
That claim is complicated by current standalone prices: the Switch 2 is selling for $450 and Mario Kart World is $80, which adds up to $530 before the membership. Nintendo offered a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle at the console's June 2025 launch for $500, but that earlier bundle was discontinued.
The Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle ships in late September 2026, and the Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports bundle will be available on October 22, 2026.
