SILENT HILL: Townfall launches September 24, 2026 with new cast trailer

SILENT HILL: Townfall now has a date. Konami used gamescom Opening Night Live to show new footage, reveal the English cast and confirm that the first-person psychological horror game launches on September 24, 2026.

A first-person trip into Scotland

Townfall is set in Scotland in 1996 and follows Simon Ordell, who is drawn back to the island of St. Amelia. The new footage reinforces the game’s first-person perspective and its focus on exploration, evasion, limited resources and psychological horror.

The cast reveal adds Jovan Adepo, Terry O’Quinn and Kezia Burrows to the project. Their presence gives the new trailer a stronger character focus, but Konami is still keeping the central mystery deliberately opaque.

The game is being developed by Screen Burn Interactive and published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive. It is designed as a self-contained Silent Hill story rather than a continuation that requires knowledge of another entry.

With less than a month between the Gamescom trailer and launch, Townfall joins a particularly busy horror calendar. The trailer is focused on atmosphere and character rather than a full explanation of the town’s rules, so the main question left for release is how its first-person survival systems will balance combat, evasion and the series’ puzzle-driven storytelling.
